There has been quite some variability in the quality of photos submitted (or completely omitted) from the Cuboree applications. It is important that the photo you submit is accurate, up to date, and of passport quality. If you are not sure what makes up a "passport quality" photo, then the following link to the Australian government website should help. https://www.passports.gov.au/web/requirements/photos.aspx Note: Because you are submitting a digital photo, you don't need two copies as stated on the website. Follow the guidelines from the part where it says "the Basics". Modern camera equipped phones should produce an image of sufficient quality for this purpose. We can cope with an image quality that produces an image between 300k and 50k. Modern digital cameras produce images that are up to 5 megabytes in size and are too large for us to process. Especially for our younger members who are growing up fast, it is important that the picture is up to date. Last years school photo won't cut it. The best way to make sure that your cubs/leaders are submitting the best possible photo would be to use a reasonable quality mobile phone to take photos of each applicant on cub night - preferably when they are clean and still scrubbed up. The GL should have access to the extranet to upload/update the photos. You can reduce the workload of the admin team and make sure that no application approval is delayed by taking these few simple steps. -- The admin team
